Shopping in Heraklion is a ritual. The locals usually go shopping and afterwards enjoy a long coffee with friends in one of the many modern cafés and bars in the centre of the town.

Shop opening hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 09.00 till 14.30, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 09.00 - 14.00 & 17.30 - 20.30. Souvenir shops are open all day.
